Lower Paxton Township – Dauphin County, Pennsylvania

Since 1973, Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) has been a partner with Lower Paxton Township in the day-to-day administration of their engineering program. Located in a suburb of Harrisburg, the primary needs of the municipality have focused on the maintenance and rehabilitation of the aging infrastructure to accommodate growth and development issues.

HRG regularly attends Township Commissioners and Planning Commission meetings and provides review of subdivision and land development plans. HRG has helped to get projects off the ground by working together with the Township to clearly define the project needs and associated costs.  Then, to ensure that Lower Paxton Township can stay within their budgetary guidelines, we have assisted them with identifying and securing the necessary funding sources.

Continuing through preliminary and final design, HRG works to closely monitor project development and cost. We provide full contract administration services and have full and part-time resident project representatives to oversee construction.

Sample projects include:

  • AMP Park Recreational Facility Design
  • George Park Construction
  • Lingle Park Recreational Facility
  • Brightbill Park Wetland Mitigation
  • Route 22 Corridor and Traffic Signal Coordination
  • Hurley Highway Maintenance Facility
  • Pavement Management Program
