Swisher Promoted to Oversee HRG’s Central Pennsylvania Water/Wastewater & Energy Initiatives

HRG has promoted David M. Swisher, P.E., to be the regional manager responsible for water/wastewater & energy services for HRG’s Central Pennsylvania region. In this role, he will oversee all water and wastewater related engineering projects completed by the firm throughout Central Pennsylvania.

Swisher brings a decade of diverse experience to this position. His knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure projects ranges from planning, permitting, and design to construction administration and financial analyses.

Swisher served as an intern for HRG from May 2000 to August 2001 and joined the firm in 2003 as a staff professional. He was promoted to project manager in 2005 and recognized for his accomplishments by being named an associate of the firm in 2010. He earned his master’s degree in environmental engineering and bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is a registered professional engineer.

Swisher is a certified Construction Document Technologist, Water System Operator through PADEP, and a Class B Water Treatment Plant Operator. In addition, he is a member of the American Water Works Association, Construction Specifications Institute, Pennsylvania Municipal Authority Association, Pennsylvania Water Environment Association, and Water Environment Federation.
