Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) has promoted Kara Smith to be their western region marketing specialist. In this role, she will be responsible for creating and supporting strategic marketing initiatives and events in HRG’s West Virginia, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania offices.
Smith has 10 years of wide-ranging experience, which includes extensive networking and community engagement as well as client communications in both the private and non-profit sector.
“HRG’s western region offices in Morgantown, Pittsburgh, and Youngstown are positioned for strong growth, thanks in part to the initiative Kara has already shown in helping to promote our firm through her involvement in the community,” says Western Region Vice President Jason Fralick. “Even before her promotion, Kara has put forth strategic ideas to further HRG’s presence in this region, and we are excited for the contributions she will make now that she will be given even more opportunity.”
Originally founded in 1962, HRG has grown to be a nationally ranked Top 500 Design Firm, providing civil engineering, surveying and environmental services to public and private sector clients. The 200-person employee-owned firm currently has office locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
