HRG is proud to announce that Bruce A. Yerger has been named as a finalist for the 2012 CFO of the Year Awards for his leadership and achievements both personally and professionally.
Bruce is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at HRG and has been with the company since 2008. He is a senior executive with over 30 years of comprehensive experience, including both technical and broad managerial responsibilities. Bruce currently oversees the financial operations of the firm and utilizes his strong technical and management skills to ensure future stability and growth, and holds a Certificate of Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America. In addition to his responsibilities at HRG, he is an active member in his community through involvement in a variety of organizations including Relay for Life – American Cancer Society, Children’s Miracle Network, Boy Scouts of America and the United Way. Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg Area’s Community Leadership Program.

The CFO of the Year Awards are a unique local program to honor financial officers through the celebration of their work, which is vital to the success and stability of businesses and organizations, as well as the region’s overall economic growth. As an award finalist, Bruce will be recognized at an event being held on Thursday, May 31 at York College of Pennsylvania, as well as in a publication to be inserted in the June 8 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
