Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) is expanding its operations with a new office in York, Pa. The office is located at 135 N. George Street and is managed by Tim Staub, AICP.
Staub is a member of the Springettsbury Township Planning Commission with more than 20 years of experience in community planning, municipal financing, and development.
“York County has been my home for many years, and I’ve had the privilege to work with so many community leaders to improve the quality of life here over the course of my career,” Staub says. “My team members at HRG are just as passionate about community development, and I’m excited to bring that passion to my hometown.”
Staub is not the only HRG team member to call York County home; 20 percent of the firm’s Central Pennsylvania area employees live in York County, and many of them are actively engaged in the community through volunteer service. Staub, for example, is president of the United Parishes Soccer Club and coaches two youth sports teams. He’s also involved with the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and St. Joseph School.
“HRG has completed many projects in York over the years,” company president Robert Grubic says. “We wanted to open an office here to be closer to our clients in the area and demonstrate our commitment to York County’s growth and development.”
Indeed, York County is one of the fastest growing counties in PA, fueled, in part, by the development of industrial warehouse and distribution centers along the Interstate 83 and Interstate 30 corridors. HRG has provided land development for several of these distribution centers. They also designed a helipad and improved parking and access at Wellspan York Hospital. They are currently working with the York County Planning Commission on a regional stormwater management plan.
The firm will be offering its full range of services from its new location in York, including municipal engineering, community planning, roadway and bridge design, water and wastewater system design, land development, water quality management, and financial planning and analysis.
Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) is a nationally ranked design firm providing civil engineering, surveying, and environmental services.
